Nest is a collection of hip casual dresses and tops. With ease Nest dresses will carry you from day (with sandals) to evenings (with jewelry and heels.) Nest dresses are for those times when you don’t want to be too precious but still look great. The fabrics for Spring /Summer 2007 Collection are cotton voiles, silk charmuese and cotton lawn prints.This first Collection is an expansion for Designer/Owner Sweet P who also created nest pj’s .
 Sweet P was inspired at an early age by her fashionable Aunt Barbara and Cher. She began sewing and sketching fashion designs at a young age, later entered college to learn the trade, and subsequently began her own successful fashion line. Her ultra cool designs sold in ‘Urban Outfitter’s” and to well over 100 boutiques in Los Angeles, New York and in London, Germany and Japan. She attracted many celebrity devotees such as Madonna, Halle Berry, Daryl Hannah, and Jordan Ladd. The press loved Sweet P and featured her wares in WWD, the New York Time’s fall fashion issue, Cosmo, Apparel News, the cover of Bikini, Bleach, Paper Magazine, Seventeen and YM to name a few. After 5 years of doing it alone Sweet P was offered a job designing intimates and sleepwear. The idea of working for someone else seemed like a vacation and she took it. Of course it wasn’t long until she was offered an even better position on the design team at bebe where she was adored by all, and promoted after one year. The ambitious and talented Sweet P worked at bebe four years until she began to feel creatively stifled. The rest is history…….
Nest will be delivered to it’s first stores March 31,2007.
